REALTOR® Foundation Golf Outing Drums Up Nearly $25,000 for Local Homeless Organizations
On July 21, 2011, the philanthropic arm of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® (MIBOR) raised nearly $25,000 during the REALTOR® Foundation's 18th annual golf outing.

Hosted at Eagle Creek Golf Club, the event drew attendees from across MIBOR's 10-county region for a day of golf to benefit local homeless service providers. The funds generated by the event will help fuel the Foundation's next round of community grants, which provide direct support to central Indiana nonprofits that serve Hoosiers in need of transitional housing and related services. Requests for funding are accepted through August 26th at www.realtorfoundation.com. Those grants will infuse another $100,000 into deserving nonprofits that work to help people recover from homelessness.
