About the 2010 Outing

It was a hot one, but the 2010 REALTOR® Foundation golf outing was a huge success! Over 180 players participated in the event held at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Two pop-up thunderstorms didn't slow them down as golfers enjoyed a day of golf, games, food (catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill®), a silent auction, and the annual golf outing dunk tank. To top it off, over $26,000 was raised to support organizations in central Indiana that provide for our homeless neighbors.

Founded in 1984 by the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS®, the REALTOR® Foundation provides REALTORS® the opportunity to make a difference by supporting the people, projects and services that shape the quality of their community.

The REALTOR® Foundation is committed to fighting the serious problem of homelessness in central Indiana. Our vision is simple: “To transition central Indiana individuals from homelessness or inadequate or unsafe housing to permanent solutions that positively change their lives.”

Since its founding, the REALTOR® Foundation has awarded grants that have helped central Indiana strengthen its communities. With an increase in the number of homeless people, the Foundation dedicates increased support to organizations that provide services to the victims of homelessness. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $500,000 to area charities that supply housing for victims of unforeseen circumstances.
